Oldest House in Washington

Washington, D.C.

French scenic wallpaper circa 1860 adorns the entry vestibule of the oldest house in Washington. This classic and comfortable living room boasts modern upholstery, formal drapery, antiques and a Sultanabad carpet. The neutral painted paneling dominate in this traditional library with warm colorful tones. In the formal dining room a crystal chandelier sets the stage for Georgian chairs, a double pedestal table, cut crystal stemware, formal chine and silver flatware. Shades of cream in the master bedroom create a serene setting.
